We use and recommend East Coast Safe-T-Rail systems to ensure that we always comply with the Australian standards when working at heights. All Safe-T-Rail procedures are carried out to AS 4100-1990 & AS 1657-1992 and meet OH&S regulations 2001.
A complete risk assessment is carried out on every job and is available upon request on site.
We cater for large project home builders, Roof tilers/Restorers, Trades people and Owner builders.

Our Services
Our services include;
- Safe-T-Rail for both tiled roofs and metal roofs
- Light duty working platforms (LDWP) for facia and gutter installations
Safe-T-Rail Services
Tile application; we have 2 options
1st option is the standard fitment of a chain around the rafter in the bottom course leaving the tile out where the post are and when dismantled our installer fits all tiles back.
2nd option is a screw down post to cater for reroofs where the tiler can place the tile as close to the gutter line as possible to stop any water entering the roof. This system is also used for jobs that have lined eaves. We can also supply you with water sheds this is a simple piece of plastic that can be placed under the second course tile above the Safe-T-Rail post to ensure water doesn’t enter the roof.
Metal application;
We use a system where the EC bracket is sacrificial we simply screw the Safe-T-Rail post on top of the rafter where the 1st batten is. This system doesn’t get in any other trades way making it easier for all trades to continue with out dramas.
The roofer simply lays his sheets over the bracket making for a no hassle installation of the roof. When it comes to removing the Safe-T-Rail it’s as simple as knocking out the post and leaving the EC bracket behind.
All the above applications have a maximum roof pitch of 30º. Any pitch above 30º is subject to a site evaluation and POA.

LDWP is a simply designed system to aid the installation of facia & gutter to single storey houses.

Creative Roofing Australia P/L T/as Ultra Edge Protection started trading in July 2002. Since then we have sub-contracted to one of Sydney’s largest scaffolding companies; East Coast Scaffolding. In this time we have built a very strong relationship with East Coast in being their preferred Safe-T-Rail installer.
Ultra Edge Protection employs 5 staff; 1 manager/supervisor, 3 experienced installers whom all have current OH&S and 1 office person.
Ultra Edge Protection always maintains current workers compensation insurance and public liability.
Ultra Edge Protection always supplies a Safe Work Method Statement when required.
